Bookboard Subscription Service Has Children's Books In One Place

Bookboard is an all-you-can-read subscription service app similar to Netflix where kids can browse and find books to read on their iPad. Bookboard plans to inspire young children to read by helping them discover new books and earn achievements as they read through stories. The app, which is concluding its beta cycle, is working toward a release later this month.

* Reading experience, optimized for children and iPads. As readers click on passages, words grow in size, and Bookboard also offers an audio ‘read to me’ option along with additional features one would expect with a tablet reader (such as swipe for page turns, reading progress status bar).
* No purchasing, downloading or managing separate books. Kids get the power to drive the experience of choosing what to read, and start reading instantly. No need for ongoing purchase appeals to parents or waiting for lengthy downloads!
* Finding the next book is easy. Bookboard suggests additional stories based on what children have been reading, right when they're most interested. As kids read, they're rewarded by unlocking new books to add to their collections – and they’ll keep coming back to get the next story. As the reader’s interests and reading levels change, Bookboard changes with them. And Bookboard adds new titles to the selection regularly.
* Special features just for parents. Parents can suggest the types of books each child reads, and get progress reports on the amount of time the child reads, the number of pages, books and more.
