Dungeon Crawlers Metal Takes Advantage of the iPhone's New Metal Technology.

Posted by Jessica Fisher on April 12th, 2015
+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

Dungeon Crawlers Metal, by Ayopa Games, is a turn-based strategy RPG. You'll explore dungeons, fight monsters, and loot treasure over 10 challenge level maps or face off in the arena. Dungeon Crawlers Metalhas a humorous story to it that includes some fun bosses like the dreaded D. Knight Shyamalan. The story is broken up into four chapters, each of which has a unique multi-level dungeon.

The game uses the new Metal tech, which speeds up 3D rendering making it easier for the CPU to handle better physics modeling or audio processing. This gives the app better visuals and smoother gameplay.

You can download Dungeon Crawlers Metal for $4.99 on the App Store to start delving those dungeons.

Bezircle Review

By Jennifer Allen on May 7th, 2014
Our rating: starstarstarhalfstarblankstar :: STRANGE NAME
Capturing orbs by circling them shouldn't be quite so much fun or as tactical, but Bezircle does a fine job of offering both.

Don't Shoot Yourself! in This Frantic Dodge-a-Thon

Posted by Rob Rich on October 11th, 2013

Don't Shoot Yourself is a self-directed survival shooter coming to iOS from Silverware Games. Each level is a confined space, and your bullets will ricochet around (and fire) constantly, meaning that it only gets harder the longer you hold out. But the longer you last, the closer you get to your final bullet, and once that's fired you'll break out of the stage and be able to move on to the next.

I dunno about you, but I'm interested in trying my hand at the Boss challenges, 50 levels, and Infinite Mode when Don't Shoot Yourself! hits the App Store on November 13.

An asynchronous iOS rpg is definitely a cool idea, but as cool as this attempt at the concept can be it could still do with a bit more polish.

Major Update For Escape From Age Of Monsters

Posted by Jennifer Allen on May 29th, 2012

Escape From Age Of Monsters is already plenty of fun, as our review discussed last month, but it's just about to get a whole lot more enjoyable.

The latest update to the beautiful endless runner is set to offer a whole bunch of a new features.

New "flyby" items will be available to unlock and thus upgrade. There'll be a Coin Converter upgrade which changes all pop-ups to money bags for a set time, as well as a Bonus Collector, a Boost for ploughing through walls and a new Coin Multiplier.

As well as that, there are new extra lives to acquire, player-activated powerups to enjoy and even the chance to restore to life after defeat or profit from a headstart that skips the player past the first building.

For those talented players who can stay in turbo mode for long enough, there's now Double Turbo that offers a 3x multiplier and, ultimately, Turbo Heaven giving players an impressive 5x multiplier.

Bsides all the new upgrades, there'll also be new buildings to leap from and various tweaks and improvements.

Escape From Age Of Monsters is available now.
