Agent 47 will be sneaking onto mobile as Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal launches in late November

Posted by Shaun Walton on November 21st, 2023

It is almost that most holy jolly of seasons, and what does that mean? Correct, the return of our favourite suited-up assassin as Hitman: Blood Money - Reprisal gets a release date. Before the month is out, it will be time to step back in time to replay a classic from the sixth generation.

Originally released in 2006, Hitman: Blood Money quickly became the standout title from the franchise, and indeed in all of gaming. Featuring the ever-stoic Agent 47, our ruthless assassin takes on The Franchise, a rival organisation to the ICA, under the watchful eyes of Diana Burnwood. This was the first game to introduce Noterity, making future missions harder depending on how successful your stealth was.

These will fit most Android phones, as well as the new iPhone 15 series thanks to them shifting away from lightning connectors.

George Orwell's classic novella Animal Farm is set to receive a video game adaptation from developers Nerial and The Dairymen. It's being written by Failbetter Games Creative Director Emily Short.

Nerial is of course the team behind the Reigns series, and Animal Farm will seemingly offer a similar style of decision-based adventuring. The basic idea is that you can decide which of the animals to follow and ultimately influence key events on the farm.

A quick beginner’s guide to Final Blade

Posted by 148Apps Staff on February 14th, 2019
+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

Final Blade was developed by newcomer SkyPeople studio, with help from localisation guru Glohow. After two years exclusively in the hands of South Korean and Chinese players, the game is now celebrating its global launch. Hurrah! But if you’re a Western warrior who’s wet behind the ears, our handy beginner’s guide will help you prepare for the fight.

What is Final Blade?

It’s the latest anime-styled online RPG out of South Korea. There are multiple gameplay modes to get to grips with, a clan system for multiplayer co-op play, and much more.
Collect hundreds of colourful characters – all rendered in equally colourful 2.5D graphics – as you fight your way through each chapter of the fantastical story.

Speaking of, Final Blade’s plot has plenty of twists and turns but can be boiled down to a good-versus-evil epic. The game is set in a magical world, where heroes and villains are squabbling over a sword. Not just any sword, either – one imbued with the power of mythical warriors past. It’s a bit Excalibur or The One Ring. You – the Black Prince – must recruit and command a band of warriors as you attempt to ‘unmess’ the mess this world is in.
