Tick Tock Task Review

Effortless to use, Tick Tock Task is minimalistic in style yet offers all the relevant features one could need for arranging the to do lists that dictate their lives.

There's a fairly comprehensive tutorial keen to welcome new users, but it's hardly needed. Tick Tock Task is pretty intuitive throughout. Users flick a finger upwards to create a task with all that's needed at that point being a name for it. It's then down to the user if they want to add further personalization such as adjust its color for added focus or, more importantly, add a deadline to it. The latter can also be used as a reminder tool, giving extra purpose to using Tick Tock Task. All tasks are arranged according to their deadline, so it's easy to see at a glance what needs to be focused on.

While individual tasks can be added, it's also possible to create lists through a very similar interface. This has the added benefit of flexibility, but only when it's really needed. It's a consistently clean way of doing things, making it always simple to see what needs doing, while also being able to expand further.

Being able to view and archive completed tasks is included, with a nice touch in being able to shake the iOS device to send them off to the archives. Other nice touches come from features such as iCloud syncing and an App Badge icon, ensuring everything that's needed is here.

There's no way to share tasks with other users, but that's a relatively minor point for a personal app. It doesn't stop Tick Tock Task being a great tool for those keen to get their life in better order.
