A Real Tree is a simple little app — it just displays a animated tree. But behind that tree is a little bit of environmental charity.
The developers of A Real Tree have pledged to plant a tree for each copy of A Real Tree sold in one of 12 countries including:
Belize, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Burundi, Senegal, Zambia, India, Philippines, and Haiti.
You can keep track of the number of trees on their web site. A Real Tree is a great idea and a great way to do a little something to fight deforestation in a rather novel way.
