Although this is billed as a great way to showcase URLs (websites, blogs…) to a client, the application is much more than that. Essentially, it’s giving you back precious application space on your device!

Although this is billed as a great way to showcase URLs (websites, blogs…) to a client, the application is much more than that. Essentially, it’s giving you back precious application space on your device!

The application is a great way to show a client your websites and blogs. It’s really simple and easy to use and it means you don’t have to show them all the other applications on your phone. With a simple tap you can show them only which sites you want them to see.

This would be useful for a spur of the moment mobile presentation or maybe in a networking situation or even when there is not a computer handy.

Some reasons why this application is good. This is billed as a way to show clients the projects you are working on without them having to see your potentially embarrassing range of game applications. I was using it in a different capacity. Because of the limit of 148 applications on the iPhone, I started to delete my website shortcuts. This was to create more room. This application essentially gives me a lot more space on my iPhone.

It is easy to work out, you really don’t need instructions how to use this straight forward application. Also, the links open in a browser within the program which is nice so you can just go back to all your links. There is also an option to email your link which could be handy.

You can choose a different icon to represent your websites and even import your own. The Presentor application is simply a screen with a nice background (you can choose your own) with a set of icons linked to specific sites and blogs.

Some things that could be improved are that the icons in the program look a little cheap. With some of the backgrounds the icons can look slightly pixelated at the edges. There is also some slight ‘buggieness’ with it that the icons sometimes move around the screen out of place when you are trying to slide across to the next screen.

Lastly, you can have multiple screens of icons so it would have been nice to add the indicator circles like the other navigation screens have, underneath the screens – to indicate how many screens there are and which screen you are at. (In keeping with apples UI, user interface.)

Overall this is really worth the money if you frequently add sites and applications to your home screen. It is a really quick and easy way to update the amount of space that Apple have allocated for your device.
