Hmm, I'll bet there's more to this picture.
Well, I hope you are the guy that really reads the Playboy articles, because that’s just about all there is. The app comes with the most current issue (each additional issue is 99 cents) with most, if not all of the included content. While the articles retain their “sophisticated vulgarity”, the pictures have all traces of nudity cropped out. You’ll see some cleavage here and there, especially in the cover, but that’s it.
Once you get into the app, the articles are organized fairly well into specific menus that cover each section. Some individual sections have their own menu systems, but most are just articles that you can scroll through.
I suppose that if you really love reading Playboy articles, the app will delight you, but for most, playboy.com is probably just as good. It’s obvious that Jump Games knows what they are doing, as the magazine is well organized and perfectly readable (not spectacularly well made, just very readable), but with Apple’s restrictions on the industry, there is really no point in getting the digital version.
…and please, don’t be like Majinbu on the App Store and leave comments like, “Bad app don’t waste you’re money you’re not getting what you pay for!” The iTunes description clearly states that there is no fully nude content.
- Hmm, I'll bet there's more to this picture.
