My son is *OBSESSED* with “choo-choos” right now, and we’re currently teaching him the alphabet. I can’t think of a better way to get him interested in learning his ABC's than this clever application. “My ABC Train” is simple to play – the animated train moves along the tracks pulling 26 cars with each representing a different letter of the alphabet and containing an interactive surprise inside each car. There’s a lot to explore with this app and the more you touch, the more you’ll discover the hidden secrets within the train. The musical accompaniment has a riff and cadence reminiscent of Johnny Cash and there are plenty of sounds to experience along with the interactive images. One of the most compelling and unique features of “My ABC Train” is the ability to customize each train car with an image and sound file. For example, for the “M” train, I’ve inserted a picture of myself and a sound bite including the word “Mama” – very cool. I highly recommend this app for any young-one learning the alphabet, and it’s a “must-have” for those with a penchant for trains.
