Look At All The Animals is a very nice and simple universal interactive storybook with a good use of bright colors and animation. Simply tap the text to hear the narration play, and then watch the animations bringing this story to life.

My son and I really enjoy this lovely story about the different animals that a young boy can see from his bedroom window. From cats and a dog to birds and fish, this is a charming tale which allows the reader to view the world from this boy’s curious perspective. The text describing all of the animals seen by this boy reminds me of what my son talks about when we go on walks and see animals on our block or at the local park. Looking at and talking about animals is one of my boy’s favorite things, and I think he related to the main character a great deal.

I especially like that the boy notes the differences between the cat who does not like to play, and the cat who plays all day, introducing the idea that animals have unique personalities the way people do - for instance, how some dogs may not be looking for the a kid's attention, even if other dogs appreciate the gentle touches of a child.

Tapping the text is a nice way to engage the reader, and I really like the look of the animated sections, made complete with bold color choices and very nice animations.

Although used sparingly at the beginning and at the end, I find the use of music to be very relaxing and even slightly uplifting as it highlights the last animal of this story very nicely - my favorite part of this book. Look At All The Animals is not a long book - which I sometimes appreciate in a bedtime story. We love longer stories as well, but there are times at night when a lengthy tale does not fit into the time allotted. For these times, this is a great title as I know my son will find this story about animals very satisfying in a short amount of time.

Look At All The Animals is a simple and tender story about animals and a boy's perspective of the world around him, worth a look at by any child, especially those who love exploring or animals.
