This application brings art to your iPhone. It’s a version of the Jackson Pollock web application, and its fun to be able to paint like the master! You will find yourself showing people this application …and then, not getting your iPhone back because they want to keep painting.

This application essentially brings the website interaction to the iPhone platform. You have a white canvas and you paint onto it, all in the style of artist Jackson Pollock.

The reason why this is a good application is because it is interesting to make these pictures in his style. The application gives you several choices for painting. You can select random or from five pallets: Rainbow, Fire, Organic, Cool and Magic. The drips and splatters are fun to do and they change direction according to how you are holding your device.

Once you have created your painting, you can save it to your photos, which is great. You can also just shake your device to start a new one.

In addition, it supports the multi touch interface and you can use several fingers to apply the ‘paint’.

An email feature, so you can send out your pictures, would be a great addition to this app. In addition, sometimes when you go near the edge to apply paint, it clicks back to the help menu, which can be a bit annoying. Your image that you were working on is still there though, so you don’t lose any of your work.

For the price of this application, I think it is worth a download because it is unique. It is also fun and you can create some pretty pictures. Additionally this app brings with it the “wow” factor of joining the group of applications you always pull out to show your friends!
