If you’ve recently become a parent, you want to cherish and treasure every delightful memory that’s about to come your way. Whether it’s their first smile, or their first tentative steps, it’s a big deal. Hell’o Baby is an app that stores all those memories together along with pictures and videos, enabling you to look back in years to come to see your little one develop.

Starting out, you enter a few details about the baby, such as name, gender, birthday, weight and height at birth. You can also enter your relationship to them, meaning relations other than parents can enjoy the experience. Once that’s entered, you can get started with adding photos and memories.

A quick tap of the + sign takes you there, with audio and notes also possible to add. Once you’ve added a photo, you can then include details of the event, along with a key moment that’s tied into it. These key moments are fairly varied, such as a first toy, recognizing their parents for the first time, or holding their head up. Rather appealingly, they change depending on the age of the child. As the child grows up, you can add key moments such as a trip to the zoo, or eating a special meal.

It’s this attention to detail that makes Hell’o Baby quite a success. There are achievements tied into it too, such as rewarding you for reporting numerous measurements of your child so you have an accurate view of how quickly they’ve grown.

In each case, you can share content with loved ones, although the whole album is always kept private. A future update promises daily snapshots, enabling you to see just how your baby is developing on a day to day basis, plus you can add stickers and filters to the child’s photos.

It’s a handy app for storing those adorable snapshots and memories. Some kind of backup functionality would be useful here given the importance, but other than that, Hell’o Baby hits all the bases.
