A fun gift for the kid of any age. Who doesn't like a remote controlled car?

Bottom Line: A large app-controlled car that's difficult to steer, slow, but a load of fun. An app update to make the control of the car better would go a long way to adding even more fun.

The Moto TC Rally car is a lot larger than I thought it would be. I was envisioning a 3-5" long car, but in reality it's closer to ten inches long. It's well-made and featuring extra large tires, rear wheel drive, flexible skin, and a cool ground effect lighting feature. The iPhone or iPod touch controlled racer is a blast to drive around.

The required app also allows the car to be used in various games when two cars are available to play. Single player mode allows control of the car as users normally would a remote control car. I did find that the controls took a long time to get used to. Tilt control was a bit slow to respond, but touch control on the screen generally worked better.

A fun gift for the kid of any age. Who doesn't like a remote controlled car?
