Find objects within a picture as you trek your way up Everest

This is a game where you try to uncover hidden objects within a detailed on-screen image. The intro is a dramatic cartoon depiction of the teams facing off on this hidden expedition. After that, it’s just a set of images with hidden objects, with some navigation screens to break up the action. The expedition up Everest is not of great significance, as it’s a backdrop to your individual object seeking missions. It’s a race against the computer controlled teams to locate listed objects that may or may not be well hidden.

It can be fun, but it can also get frustrating. You pan around a detailed scene and while some objects stand on their own, others are embedded within other objects. Some of the objects don’t look anything like you would expect them to. You can get periodic hints when you get stumped, but I would find myself screen mashing to try to locate elusive objects. Once you find an object in a scene, you’ll usually be able to find it in the same scene the next time you’re placed in that location. The range of objects do vary, so it’s doesn’t become just a memory game. The game requires some concentration and should probably be played while stationary.

The game looks great, and from that standpoint is likely worth its purchase price. Once you get into it, the game can be a bit addictive. I couldn’t see myself playing this for long periods of time. Based on the range of objects (some descriptions were difficult to define), I couldn’t really identify the target audience.
