Enigmo is a fantastic casual puzzle game — think The Incredible Machine meets Lemmings.

Enigmo is a launch title that has provided me with lots of enjoyment over these past few weeks. I figured it was time to review it after displaying my obvious legal stupidity it’s time for something fun. The object of this puzzle game is to move liquids from where they are dripping to their destination using a bunch of different objects. Think The Incredible Machine meets The Lemmings.

While each puzzle, nicely rendered in 3D is pretty short, or can be short if you do it right, there are tons of different puzzles including user submitted ones that you can download to the device. There are a variety of devices you use to move the liquids from one location to another. Some that absorb and drip, some the funnel, some that bounce the drops. You place the devices on the board and rotate them to move the liquids the direction needed. Generally you will need to use multiple devices to get the drops to the destination. In addition, in some puzzles, you’ll need to pass the liquid through filters to change it’s color before you get it to it’s destination.

The only real issue with this game is that the screen on the iPhone is too small. Obviously not the fault of the developers. Luckily they have included good controls for moving around and zooming on and out. Using the standard pinch method you can zoom. Dragging a single finger on a blank part of the screen drags the view around.

This game is great fun and works fantastic on a casual platform like the iPhone.
