Useful and simple to use, Convert is a handy conversion tool slightly let down by its advertisements.

Keeping it simple and quick to use, Convert is a handy tool for those users who need to make quick conversions between various different types of units. It might lack copy and paste functionality, but otherwise it does everything else one could want.

To get some pertinent figures out of the way, Convert includes support for over 1000 different units covering 15 different categories, including 34 different currencies. It sounds like a lot because it is. Pretty much all currencies one could wish to convert between are here, plus it's a similar story for other types of measurements. Want to convert between data rates and volumes in the same place? Convert has it covered.

It's very simple to use, too. It's just a matter of swiping to the side to choose a type of measurement before inputting the numbers. Changing between different types of measurement is just a matter of double tapping on the default setting.

For added convenience, it's possible to rearrange the order of measurements too, making it quicker for those who tend to use just a couple of different types. Plus there are plenty of color themes to mess around with.

That's understandably pretty much all there is to Convert. It keeps its looks similarly understated yet appealing, fitting into the typical flat style of iOS and ensuring it'll look nice while it's used. At least that is until some ad banners appear not long after using the app. There's no way of paying to remove these, something that would have been really appreciated, so it does detract from the otherwise attractive subtleness of the app.

Also, as mentioned before, there's no way of copying and pasting results, nor sending them elsewhere such as via email or tweet, but as a tool solely for the user in front of the device, Convert has things nicely covered.
