Sorting through a huge collection of business cards makes it impossible to locate clients and business partners quickly, but now there’s an app that makes the task simple for everyone.

CamCard takes high quality scans so users can quickly find contacts with ease. Don't worry about losing business cards again because CamCard restores them in case of accidental deleting. The app even manages and syncs business cards across multiple devices with Cloud Sync.

The professional business card reader has a simple interface that makes it easy for users to organize their contact information. Tapping the Take Photo button allows users to capture any business card they desire. Users can also select a photo of a business card or copy and paste an email signature to save the contact information to the card holder.

CamCard converts the business card to text and stores the information so it is easily accessible later. Users can delete contacts at any time, share them with Email, SMS, QRMeCard or QRVCard, rotate the card to view it at a different angle, add another side of the business card and edit or add notes to the contact information manually.

Once the card holder stores all the scanned business cards and contact information, users are able to search through contacts, choose folders or sort the contact information by name, date or company.

The real fun begins once users tap on a stored business card. A set of user-friendly buttons appears on the bottom of the screen that allows users to call the contact directly, send an SMS message or email, locate the address on Google Maps, connect to the contact’s LinkedIn page or go directly to their homepage. The card holder also allows users to create groups or introduce friends to each other.

CamCard is a life saving app that really comes in handy for those of us who have a hard time keeping track of all those business cards. While the app isn’t always accurate, it’s pretty darn close. There were a few times where I had to edit the contact information manually and one instance where there just wasn’t enough sufficient lighting to scan the dark business card. These were rare occurrences and it’s to be expected that these issues may pop up sometimes.

The ability to add your own business card or create one manually within the app allows users to exchange their contact information when they find themselves without a business card. For users who network, frequent conventions or attend business meetings, CamCard is an essential app. Since CamCard is a little pricey, check out the lite version here to make sure it suits your tastes: CamCard Lite.
