ABC On The Go Review

ABC On The Go is an alphabet recognition game that reinforces associations between letters and sounds through three interactive games: Classic, See It Say It, and Hear It Hit It. In Classic, flashcards with letters and associated pictures are presented. When the letter and pictures are touched, the name of the letter and associated word is spoken. In See it Say It, the child touches an image to hear the name spoken, and then touches three letters to hear their sounds. When the correct letter that begins the word for the image is selected, the child "wins" and the picture spins. Hear It Hit It builds on on this idea; instead of selecting letters, the child touches three spots which enunciate the starting sound for each word; dragging the right sound onto the image sets off celebratory fireworks.

Both my two-and four-year old got something out of the game. ABC On The Go is great for the early reader learning letters and sounds as well as for the toddler who is building vocabulary and sound skills. Another great back-to-school app!
