Actually, there is no combination for the safe. That had me spinning for a while too. It's been a while since I did that part so I don't remember exactly what to do, but it basically just wants you to “act” like you are dialing in a combo, so try spinning it around a couple times. Not sure if you have to go bot directions or not. Sorry. Most of the puzzles seem to be this way, where they appear to be complex, but require a relatively simple action. The toughest part about the puzzles is figuring out what the next step in the story is.
