This week's roundup of the five best games that have been released for iPhone and iPad is a damn good one. There's violence, there's questing, there's strategy, and there's an awful lot of dungeons. Oh, and plenty of awesome cel-shaded robots as well.

If you want to get involved in choosing which of the three is best, there are a couple of options. You can leave a comment on the article saying which one you think is best, you can send a tweet with the hashtag #148GOW, or you can comment on the Facebook post linking to this article.

We'll announce the winner on Monday, so you've got plenty of time to pick the best of the five and let us know which deserves to take this week's crown.

Card Quest - download for iOS

A wonderful dungeon crawler that's also a really smart card game. It's tactical, it looks lovely, and anyone with a penchant for fantasy is going to adore it.

Why we think you'll love it: Card Quest is one of those games that gets under your skin. You'll play a few games, and from there you'll want to push on to unlock new items and see what else the game has to offer. It's easy to get into, but it's really difficult to get out of.

Pokemon Quest - download for iOS

It's not everyday that a new Pokemon game comes out on the App Store. This one might have already come out on Switch, but it's well worth picking up for iOS if you haven't had the chance to play it.

Why we think you'll love it: Because it's a Pokemon game, and everyone loves Pokemon, right? Throw in a lovely blocky art style that presents your favorite monsters in interesting new ways, and you've got a casual Poke-catcher that you're going to adore.

Mayhem Combat - download for iOS

What happens when you mix up a battle royale game, Super Smash Bros, and the best parts of a mobile game? You get something like Mayhem Combat, and it's pretty damn special.

Why we think you'll love it: There's some really frantic combat here, but alongside the multiplayer option there's a decent single player game too. And then there's a meta-game where you're toughening up your characters and weapons with cards you collect as you fight.

Look, Your Loot! - download for iOS

A mouse with a sword and shield goes into a dungeon. What happens next is up to you. This one mashes together sliding block puzzles, RPG mechanics, and a bunch of other stuff to create something special.

Why we think you'll love it: This is another game that is easy to pick up and even easier to get horribly engrossed in. There's plenty of different challenges to sink your teeth into, and a slick score-chasing mechanic that you don't usually see in games of this depth.

Call of Mini: Beyond Infinity - download for iOS

Robots? Check. Multiplayer? Check. Massive guns, explosions, and some of the tightest action that we've seen on the App Store for a good long while. Call of Mini: Beyond Infinity pretty much has it all.

Why we think you'll love it: Did we mention the robots? And the explosions. There's a great cel-shaded style to the game, but on top of all of that the shooting is really rather solid. And there's a decent progression mechanic that's going to keep you playing.
