These are the games for iPhone and iPad that you're going to be playing next week
Every Friday here at 148Apps we like to give you a glimpse into the future. And we do that by grabbing our crystal ball and finding out what awesome mobile games you're going to be playing on your iPhone or iPad next week.
It's looking like there's going to be something for everyone again next week, which is always good. Plus there'll be the usual surprises sneaking up on us. We can't afford to pick up a crystal ball that deals with surprises though, so until we can you're just going to have to deal with what we've got here.

4Pillars - pre-order for iOS
This one's ta dungeon crawler with its feet firmly planted in the Souls camp. It might not have the look, but it's got the cruelty. Expect huge boss fights, terrifying traps, and more deaths than one person should strictly be capable of experiencing. The key to success is timing, and on top of that, the game isn't going to cost you anything when it lands on the App Store next week.
Zombie Rollerz - pre-order for iOS
The undead are the stars of a whole slew of games, but we think this might be the first one where you're playing pinball with the slathering flesh-eaters. You need to collect heroes with unique skills to make sure the reanimated dead don't take over the world. It's certainly a new take on both genres, so it'll be interesting to see how it does.
Mahjong Magic Fantasy - pre-order for iOS
To all intents and purposes, this one's a match-stuff puzzler. But it's a match-stuff puzzler with a lot going on in its head. You're not just mindlessly tapping on blobs of the same color - instead you're using your skill to connect tiles, find patterns, and much more. Sure it's got the style you'd expect, but this one might leave you a little surprised.
Super Cat Tales 2
No link for this one, but we're pretty sure that it is going to come out next week. It's the sequel to the pretty brilliant cat-based platformer Super Cat Tales, and sees you leaping around a series of levels. Different cats have different skills, so you're going to need them all to see everything the game has to offer. It's set to come out on October 4th, and we hope it's going to be as good as we think it might be.
Piffle
You've heard of Crossy Road right? Well, this is another game from Hipster Whale, and it's filled with cats. Oooh, looks like next week is going to be a cat-heavy week, which is fine by us. It's a bit of a departure for the studio, and sees you bouncing cat-balls around the screen to smash blocks.
