Stardew Valley is coming soon to Switch, and we'll finally be able to carry the game around with us like the world's greatest security blanket. There's nothing quite like sinking into the wonderful zen comfort that is hours spent in Stardew Valley's world. While it's hard to find an exact replica on mobile, we have found a few similar games that collectively feature some of our favorite things about Stardew. Let's take a look.

Castaway Paradise

Castaway Paradise is more of a city-builder than a farming sim, though you will be growing plenty of plants and making friends along the way. It's a good mobile mid-point between Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. What's not to like? As a castaway, you'll be making a new home for yourself on an island populated by animals, doing favors, gathering litter, fishing. Sound familiar? Castaway Paradise is a relaxing gem of a game.

Winter in Fairbrook: Flower Shop

Winter in Fairbrook is a visual novel/dating sim/farming sim hodgepodge. The game centers on Natalie, a college student who finds a job at a flower shop. Plan out your schedule, ensuring you have plenty of time to tend to your plants while romancing the neighborhood cuties.

Crashlands

Crashlands certainly has less of a pastoral vibe, but if you're looking for a mobile game that rivals Stardew Valley's depth and penchant for crafting all sorts of useful things, you shouldn't give Crashlands a pass. It's a magnficent game in its own right, setting you as a stranded spacefarer seeking to tame an alien wilderness while you plan your escape.

Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories

It's hard to mention Stardew Valley without thinking of Harvest Moon. Afterall, Stardew does have its roots in this classic Japanese farming sim. Seeds of Memories is the first Harvest Moon title to land on iOS and features all of the staples you've come to expect. Plant seasonal crops, raise cute, fuzzy animals, and in your off time, mingle with the locals to build lasting friendships and maybe even fall in love.

Is there a game you think deserves a spot on this list? Tell us about it in the comments.
