Test your mettle in Brown Dust’s challenging new tournament mode

Neowiz’s smash-hit turn-based RPG ‘Brown Dust’ was always one of the grandest adventures available on mobile, offering some tremendous visuals and environmental designs to boot, but now it’s been made even bigger and better thanks to a huge new update.

The largest and most exciting addition here is the new tournament mode that’s set to begin on May 30th. This sees the top 128 players on each server battle it out in monthly competitions to take home the title of champion.

Progressing through the rounds and making your way to the top will be no small task, but it’s worth it if you fancy earning a cache of rare diamonds. Those of you who aren’t quite cut out to make the top 128 can still participate and net yourself some rewards by backing your favourite player.

Another cool addition is the 3 latest Mercenaries, known simply as “The Iron Ladies”. There’s Laura, a legendary 5-star support character who has the ability to imbue your unit’s shields with lightning damage and buff their ATK and crit rating; Wilhelmina, a powerful 5-star warrior who seeks out lone targets to decimate, all while ignoring their armour value with her attacks; and then we have the 4-star magician Charlotte who can perform dazzling AEO attacks.

On top of that, you’ll also find two new costumes for Veronica and Ceres. These can be purchased using event tickets earned through the tournament mode. Then there’s the latest substory that focuses on the intriguing tale of Carlson. Among the team’s ongoing additions, we’ll also soon see the free level-up packages being rebalanced to offer better items for levelling captains or completing campaign missions.
