Tales of Monkey Island Episode 5: Rise of the Pirate God Now Available for iPhone and iPad
Telltale Games has announced that the last episode of the Monkey Island Tales series is now available for iPad. The final episode in their revival of the classic adventure game series, Episode 5 – Rise of the Pirate God, has players controlling Guybrush Threepwood and his friends again, as they try to take down his longtime nemesis LeChuck, who is now voodoo-powered. Oh dear, this does not look good for Guybrush Threepwood, who came down with a woeful malady in episode 4 called ‘death’ that he is apparently recovering from in this final episode. Those who haven’t checked out the series yet can check out Episode 1 – Launch of the Screaming Narwhal for the low, low price of free on iPhone and iPad. As well, the rest of the series is now on sale for $2.99, including this latest episode in the franchise. iPhone 4S owners will be glad to know that they will have Retina Display support on their device; older devices will get lesser graphics to ensure performance.
