What they don't tell you – eveni if you are a subscriber – is that you must pony up another $2.99/month to be able to get the stream on the iPhone. I think I will stay with Pandora or Slacker.

I have been using ooTunes to stream XM as well as essentially any radio station for months now. Very well supported app and you can get premium content (Howard) if you subscribe–no baseball though! Best $4 spent.

Thanks for the review. I signed up on the 7 day free trial and have been trying out some sports radio channels. I'm in an area with a 3G connection and the channels play for a few minutes followed by a “Fail to Connect” error. If I select the channel again, it works but it's a tedious process. My slacker radio, pandora radio and AOL radio apps all work normally without this problem. Probably a bandwidth issue?

No Stern, no album artwork ,no pdp display,No lyrics.$2.99 a mo. extra ,Just say NO.Try Slacker Radio or Pandoria if you must have sirius try wounder radio or pocket tunes.

Stern is the only remotely interesting thing, now that Dylan's ThemeTime is over, on Sirius/XM. Quite pointless to release this app without him – or a clear announce as to what date his show will be added.

Actually, that is pretty much the norm for Internet Radio Apps in the App Store. I own a bunch of live streaming radio apps and they all work well over 3G, with stations of bitrates up to 320kbps! So 128kbps for Sirius/XM stations is not really that much compared to some other Internet Radio stations.

I know that there are restrictions in place to keep you from streaming from the same account on two desktop machines at once. I would assume the same applies.

In testing, I tried streaming from the desktop first, then fired up the iPhone app. I was able to stream from both for a short while anyway. YMMV.

Do you know if two iphones can use the same Sirius account without errors or someone else getting kicked off?
