Robot Unicorn Attack 3 dashes into our lives next week

Robot Unicorn Attack has come a long way since it first appeared on the web in 2010. Throughout the years, Adult Swim Games' signature title has treated us to plentiful sparkles, faeries, cheesy Erasure tunes, and the cheery reminder that death is always imminent. We'll get another chance to experience the magic soon, as Robot Unicorn Attack 3 arrives next week.

Chris Johnston, a producer at Adult Swim Games, revealed the game's launch date on Twitter this week, suggesting that Robot Unicorn Attack 3 will be in our hands as early as next Thursday, April 13. Android users can already pre-register for the game.

We don't know too much about the upcoming game, though it looks like Robot Unicorn will be shedding its usual 2D aesthetic for something a bit more three-dimensional. Images on the game's Twitter account show gameplay that looks pretty standard for the series, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. We'll be completely happy to chase that elusive high score one more time with some souped up graphics this time around.

Robot Unicorn Attack 3 will launch worldwide next week on both iOS and Android.
