Reliance Games unveils a brand new character in its biggest ever fan led update to Real Steel

It’s been 2 months since Reliance Games launched their competition to design a brand new robot for Real Steel Premium. We’ve been teased with hundreds of great entries from die-hard fans, but the identity of the winning robot was kept under wraps – until now. Say hello to the newest member of the team, Shinobi – the Samurai welding, Japanese, iron assassin.

Designed by super-fan Ryle Sammut, Shinobi is skilled in the art of samurai fighting, and to throw something a little different in the mix - features classic sword based fighting mechanics, adding a welcomed twist to the world of robot fighting.

With the contest running across Real Steel's massive fan base of million's of supporters, which includes Real Steel, Real Steel – World Robot Boxing, and Real Steel Boxing Champions, hundreds of entries were submitted via social media with fans young and old coming together to select Shinobi as the winning entry.

Boasting a fresh new fighting style and unique persona, Shinobi promises to be a thrilling and progressive addition to the team, bringing with it diversity, new levels of mastery, and probably most importantly, high expectations for Real Steel Premium.
