Want to record two-person interviews on that iPhone or iPod touch? Double Interview brings a way to get back-to-back interview conversations that shows each person’s face when interviewing.
First, the two people record ten seconds of sample footage with each other that will be played when one person’s question is playing. Then, additional segments of footage can be added by adding questions to the interview. Two different videos can be recorded, one for each person. Then, once all the video has been recorded, it can be exported to the Camera Roll.
This could be done to essentially record a conversation between two people, using each other’s face as a reminding presence of who is on the other side, without needing to frame both people in one shot. Or, use it to record footage of something where it’s desired to show who is doing what at a certain time, and the sample footage can be used as the guideline showing who they are. It’s an app where the user will have to get a feel for it, and find a way to use it in an interesting way for them, but it works very well, even on devices with only 256 MB of RAM.
