Pirate Power guide - How to conquer the high seas

Ahoy! Did you just download Pirate Power? It’s pretty fun, right? It’s even more entertaining if you know what you’re doing which is why we’ve got some tips and tricks to help get you well on the way to being an impressive hero on the high seas.

Log in each day

You’ll want to log in every day anyway, but there’s an extra reason for doing so here. Each day, you gain coins, gems, potions, or even something extra special. Keep on logging in.

Shipping away

Chip away at your enemy’s boat but play it smart. You want to aim for the cannon where possible as knocking it out will stop them firing back at you for a short time.

Sails protect the hull of the ship, and the hull is what you’re aiming for, so get rid of the sails.

Hit it hard enough and you can create a breach on the hull. That means a special area appears on the boat that will suffer extra damage if you hit it. So, you know, aim for it, ok?

Special attacks

Early on, you can go crazy with special attacks but after a time, you'll want to keep them for boss battles. They can make a huge difference when you’re up against it.

Resource gathering

Remember to keep crafting. There’s not much point stockpiling stuff when your ship is weak and puny. Work on boosting your hull and cannons first. The rest can follow.

Evolutions

It’s great to evolve your gear but you can only do this once you’ve finished certain areas of the game. Plan ahead and wisely.

Buy shops

Buy as many shops as possible. That way you'll have a steady income no matter what you’re doing. It’s a really handy money earner - especially when you have to grind a few battles to gain that all important upgrade.
