I'd just like to add that the NPR NEWS app was developed by an iPhone development company called Bottle Rocket, who have put out a string of apps that all share the same qualities of the NPR app: they're incredibly polished and truly USEFUL, such as Gas Buddy, which locates the cheapest and closest gas stations, and Voxie, a voice recording app that includes a ton of extra features.
