Modern Combat Versus guide - how to keep the money flowing

Modern Combat Versus is a new free-to-play shooter on mobile that has all of the trappings of big FPS games like Call of Duty, but it conveniently fits inside of your pocket. It's a hero shooter that plays exceptionally well, though you will stumble upon the usual free-to-play obstacles you're probably already familiar -- think premium currencies and wait times.

It's still possible to become an advanced player in Modern Combat Versus without spending a single penny. We're going to show you how to better manage your money so you can unlock everything there is to explore.

Don't pay to speed up your crates

If you're saving up for a Diamond agent, don't waste your precious gems on speeding up timers. The end result isn't worth it, and those diamonds are better spent on buying a new, rare character.

Play with friends

If you need Korpens, playing through multiplayer is a good way to add some money to your coffers. Winning a match will grant you 50 Korpens, while a loss will still net you a generous 25. Grind out some matches in multiplayer if you're short on money -- no matter how good or bad you are, it's a great way to make some easy Korpens.

Try before you buy

If you're strapped for cash, try out each agent before you buy one. This will give you a good feel for each character without requiring you to pony up the cash. As we said in the previous guide, it's a good idea to get a feel for each agent, even though you'll likely be playing some more than others. If money is a concern for you, this is a good way to get some practice in on new characters.

Complete achievements

Each agent has their own set of unique achievements you can unlock for playing that character. Completing one will award you with Korpens, Diamonds, and other prizes, so try to complete these little objectives.
