Mobius Final Fantasy begins a month of rewards to celebrate its anniversary

Those hankering for a AAA Final Fantasy experience on mobile should have hopefully already dipped their toe into the waters of Square Enix’s Mobius Final Fantasy. An episodic mobile take on the longstanding Japanese series, the game has already enjoyed a player base of over 10 million and is now celebrating its one-year anniversary. To celebrate this milestone, plenty of limited-time treats have come to the game for all Warriors of Light to enjoy.

At the centre of the celebration is a new anniversary-themed Greater Summon, capable of letting players perform one Greater Summon at no cost whatsoever. The anniversary also gives players the potential to relive some of Mobius Final Fantasy’s most famous moments by way of new and exclusive limited-time ability cards. Throughout August, the game is spoiling users with one free card summon a day, so there’s every opportunity to build a full deck.

As if that wasn’t enough excitement to keep players hooked, Mobius Final Fantasy’s first anniversary is also bringing with it a seven-day special event known as Mobius Week. Gracing anyone who logs in from now until August 8th, Mobius week fills the game with additional perks and bonuses, from double stamina gains when using Elixirs to boosted fusion success rates that can help players make light work of Palamecia’s exploration regions.

Log in frequently enough during the month-long fun and you’ll be sure to come across one of the many gameplay tweaks that have come to Mobius Final Fantasy, as is customary with every new update. This time they come in the form of ability card updates and card summon enhancements that round out a better RPG experience. Magicite can now be obtained from enemies in battle, for example, letting all purchase more items and obtain cards quicker.
