The Impossible Game Gets Impossible-r With Two New Levels

As though the original Impossible Game wasn't punishing enough! All kidding aside, when I took a look at The Impossible Game this April I absolutely loved it—sure, it was difficult, but it nailed that sweet spot of simplistic, addictive fun. The Impossible Game sets your orange block on a fast-moving track populated by obstacles (spikes, pits) and forces you perfectly time your jumps (tap-to-jump is the only control) to avoid death. Not that death was a bad thing, exactly; you instantly restarted, making the experience seamless.

The only problem with The Impossible Game was its brevity. Once you mastered the single level, that was it. Game Over: you won! (It wasn't exactly easy, but it was certainly possible.)

Happily, FlukeDude (the developer) has recently released two brand-new levels for the Impossible Game, available via in-app purchase for $0.99 (you get both). The new levels include "features" like changing background colors (umm...) as well as new tricks like gravity inversion and more difficult setups. They've each got a unique soundtrack, too. Both levels keep The Impossible Game's trademark high-tempo, high-death design, so fans of the original shouldn't hesitate to snap up these new additions.

Don't be fooled by the following video—it's as fun as it looks, but a lot more difficult...
