Fire Emblem Heroes only launched last week, but that hasn't stopped Nintendo from rolling out a few fan events to keep folks excited about their latest mobile SRPG. Players will be getting special launch celebration maps each week which net players three Orbs rather than the customary one when they clear them.

The first map went live yesterday, and new maps will be revealed on a weekly basis. All special maps will be playable until March 14.

That's not all, though. Nintendo took to Twitter, too, to rally the troops with a retweet challenge, which the internet has already beat:

Hero Feathers will come in quite handy once your heroes reach level 20. The feathers will let you unlock additional stats or abilities in your characters, in keeping with Fire Emblem Tradition.

Outside of these early events, Nintendo told IGN that the company hopes to continue to support Fire Emblem Heroes with a steady stream of new content and events in the coming months. Kouhei Maeda, the game's director, said that the team plans to release new stories twice a month. New characters, skills, and game modes are also in the works.
