+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

Crab War is the latest mobile clicking game with a difference, it allows you to build and control a swarm of revenge hungry, mutated crabs, and lead them to victory as they embark in the battle of the century, against the reptiles that seized their homeland.

The crabs are pretty adorable, we have to admit it, but with your help they can be brutal too. Release 6 awesome abilities and customise your swarm with the ranges wide range of unique talents, up to 18, to be exact.

Witness the various mutations that have transformed your aquatic allies, choose your evolution path and team up with creatively outrageous and beautifully illustrated supporters such as the golden ray.

The setting is wonderfully unique and captivating, take a peek into an aquatic world, beautifully distorted by radiation along with its inhabitants.

The prominent graphics and bursts of colour are only a few aspects within the game that contribute to its different gaming style. There are more than 80 uniquely designed crabs that offer brilliant bursts of colour throughout the game.

The game keeps you on your toes, as your battle strategy improves and your crabs grow stronger, your enemies release a dangerous reptile, greater in size. It wouldn’t be a war without a good challenge and Crab War hosts over 50 increasingly dangerous reptiles.

Each boss is more challenging than the next, if you need to aim your attention against a specific challenge, shoot for the infamous Wildebeast, slay him and you will discover legendary rewards.

The game offers lots to explore and limitless opportunities to customise your game play, we think anyone, regardless of their gaming style or ability will enjoy fighting alongside this fearsome deity of crabs.

Crab War is rich in colour, attractive and the surrounding story is weird enough to intrigue us to continue playing.

The controls are easy to learn and as you tap your way through the rounds, the game becomes increasingly addictive. It’s a nice addition to a long commute or a Sunday spent lazing in the garden.

Q: What do you think your game offers that you can’t get from any other title on the App Store?
“If we had to point it out, it would be the unique game play experience and art style, we have always focused on giving players a fresh experience.
You can see this in our previous games like Mobfish Hunter for example. While there are thousands of fishing games on the App Store talking about different baits and fishing tools, we decided to design a fishing game with completely new style of fishing, using insane weapons systems to hunt them.
Our another unique puzzle game: Alien Hive, is not your typical match 3 puzzle game. Players are required to evolve an Alien by matching and managing their resources to create cute supreme Aliens with special abilities!
Our latest exciting new game has got to be Crab War! It is a Clicker Game(idle Game) and while there are currently many similar games on the app store, most of them either made RPG style with a hero slashing the enemy, or a guy sitting in office or stall trying to become a multi-billionaire…. Etc.

With Crab War we are trying to design a completely new experience to clicker games with what we call the “Swarm Mechanic”. Tap to spawn crabs that rush toward giant invading reptiles. We wanted players to feel that overwhelming feeling as your army fills the entire battlefield to clash with these dangerous giant reptiles. Just imagine the satisfaction of having a Zerg swarm overrun the enemy in Starcraft, who doesn’t love that?!! And those giant reptiles are not just standing there helplessly either! They fight back with their outstretching tongues which devours entire crab swarms. As you progress through, you gain more opportunities to strategize your crabs with what would be my favourite part, the Crab Evolution Paths, abilities and mutations. This allows players to use the unique characteristics of the different crabs to customize their playing style.

This will definitely encompasses what we try to do which is give players a completely fresh gaming experience, Crab War takes a step forward beyond conventional clicker games and we believe this is the core value of what we present.”

Q: What challenges did you face during development, and how did you overcome them?

“As you know we always focus on creating a unique game play experience, and this is really challenging for us, To be unique, we often have no where to find a reference, and a lot of our time is spent on experiments, proof of concepts to make sure new mechanics are fun, like the swarm effect, flowing reptile tongue attacks, summoning different powerful crabs...etc. We emphasize what makes the game unique while taking into consideration a fluid user experience, being careful to not let one ruin the other or the game as a whole.
Usually we decide to explore unique ideas and make sure it works both theoretically and logically, not just being creative for the sake of it. Because of this, we have to be quick to prototype, and pick the best bits and further develop it. Of Course, non-stop testing is an only true way to improve any game.”

Q: Which part of the game are you personally the most proud of and why?

“It has got to be the huge swarm of crabs you see that just makes the game looks gorgeous! The combination of different abilities, colorful evolved crabs of different shapes, the variety of queen crabs, the summoned giant killer crabs, dynamic speeds and flowing reptile attacks, it just comes together and feels like a piece of Contemporary Art, and everyone has their own masterpiece! That is something that I’m seriously proud of it!”

Q: Do you have anything planned in terms of future updates for the game and, if so, can you give us any details of what these might include?
“Yes we definitely have plenty more in store! Currently we are working on new customizable elements that allow players to create even more unique characteristics for their masterpiece! We are designing a Gene Tree system, where players can modify their special Genes to create completely different experience both visually and in terms of gameplay! And of course it goes without saying there will also be the much anticipated tournament system!
There are also some plans of what we call the “Scouting Crabs”, which we’ll probably discuss another time.”

Q: Have you any plans to bring the game to any other mobile platforms, such as Android, iOS, Windows Phone, or Steam?

“Currently we only focused on iOS and Android. While creating a Web game or distributing on Steam(PC) is one of the possibilities of expansion for us in the future. Developing a game is actually not that different from a resource management game. When we have enough resources and the time is right, it is something that will definitely happen!
We have already begun research and development into VR and consoles to prepare for the future. All of this is done with the hope that we will take the dedication to new experiences to the next level!”
