After the huge success of BFB 2016 Cybird are happy to announce the launch of its much awaited sequel - BFB Champions.

Having hit the App Store on the 13th of September for its UK release, Cybird’s newest app is free to download and already looks set to be as big as its predecessor - generating 300,000 downloads in its first week alone thanks to the developer’s special pre-registration campaign.

Starring the likes of Argentina’s legendary Diego Maradona and Japanese footballing manga star Captain Tsubasa, you’ll get to manage your own football team – initially playing by yourself to assemble your squad, and then training them across a multitude of mini games before selecting the perfect team to compete in leagues with players from all over the world.

While the game has already been launched in Japan and Hong Kong, its developers are planning a further release in 29 additional countries – meaning that when it’s time to up the ante and enter the multiplayer mode you’ll get to play against fans from every corner of the globe.

In this innovative approach to the genre, BFB Champions looks to combine the tense world of football management with the light hearted and fun-filled atmosphere of an arcade game.

With in-game bonuses including scout tickets that get you more players, special coaching items to aid you in your progress, and (if you’re lucky) Mr Maradona himself, it seems very likely that this sequel will enjoy just as much success as the original.

BFB Championsis available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
