Clash Royale let's you try Battle Ram early

Thank goodness it’s the weekend, because you’re going to need the free time to dedicate to Clash Royale. They’re trying something new with the Battle Ram Challenge, giving players the chance to unlock the new card early. Here’s how it works.

Essentially, you’ll have to play with the Battle Ram to win the Battle Ram. Build a deck featuring the new card and any other cards -- even those you don’t have in your collection. This is a great time to play around with cards you wouldn't otherwise have access to. After you win 5 times, you’ll then be able to start randomly winning the Battle Ram in chests before the card is officially released.

The challenge itself comes in two varieties -- Classic and Grand. Classic is free to enter once, and then costs 10 gems for each entry after that. The Grand challenge will cost you 100 gems to enter, but you’ll earn 10 times more Battle Ram cards. Regardless of how you want to invest in the Battle Ram Challenge, it is a fine opportunity to play with some excellent rare cards and get a better feel for the game.
