It's the new year, and there's a lot of great stuff coming our way - particularly in the mobile games department.

Let's take a look at the four most exciting games of 2016.

Crashlands

Butterscotch Shenanigans is a great mobile developer with a pretty stellar track record.

Crashlands, the upcoming open world survival action RPG, is easily its most ambitious title to date. Exciting stuff.

Dungelot: Shattered Lands

Dungelot and Dungelot 2 are two of the best mobile roguelikes out there, so a follow up is pretty exciting.

While fans are divided on whether the first or second is better, Shattered Lands looks to blend the two fairly different approaches to create one crazy distilled roguelike experience.

Submerged

Submerged is incredibly good looking. I mean, just look at it!

There's not much to know about Submergedjust yet, but itapparently has no combat and instead focuses on Prince of Persia-like exploration.

Riot: Civil Unrest

Riot: Civil Unrest seems to be on a similar wavelength toThis War of Minein that it takes a sensitive subject and adds a new perspective to it while providing satisfying gameplay experience.

Though it's hard to tell from the trailer, Riot is an RTS in which you can play as either the police or rioters.

It'll likely be very interesting.
