Pearl Abyss has just announced that its highly-anticipated MMO, Black Desert Mobile, will launch globally for iOS and Android on December 11th.

It's already shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2019 having already amassed over 3 million pre-registrations, and it could quite possibly be one of the best MMOs ever launched for mobile.

Now, as we know, most major publishers love to claim that its latest MMO will be a game changer, and there's often a heap of hyperbole surrounding a new release. However, judging by the latest trailer, Black Desert Mobile really does look like it will live up to the hype.

Among Black Desert Mobile's many features are its 5 character classes (Warrior, Witch, Ranger, Giant, and Valkyrie); all of which can be customised via the game's in-depth character creation options, and utilised in a complex combat system which promises to be like no other.

Players will need to progress their characters and expand their camps by completing everyday tasks like mining, fishing, foraging, and logging, as well as hiring new workers. Additional elements such as mounts, pets, weather changes, costumes, and accessories all add to a level of detail that complements Black Desert Mobile's massive open world and achingly stunning visuals.

With overwhelmingly positive reviews currently filtering back from its soft-launch territories (Australia, Canada, Turkey, Ireland, Sweden, Chile and Malaysia) and over 3 million pre-registrations so far, don't be surprised to see this one topping the app store charts once it makes its global debut on December 11th.

In the meantime, you can show your support for Black Desert Mobile and receive extra rewards when it launches by pre-registering at the official site, App Store and Google Play. Early birds will also get to enjoy pre-download and pre-character customization from Dec 9th-11th so don’t wait around.
