BillGuard Drops Premium Service, Allows Users to Store an Unlimited Number of Accounts for Free

iPhone App - Designed for iPhone, compatible with iPad

BillGuard - Track Money on Bank of America, Wells Fargo & More has completely ditched its Premium model. Where once users were limited to storing and tracking information on only two cards/accounts, and had to shell out $9.99 to increase that number to ten, now they can simply download the app and set up an unlimited (yup, unlimited) number of accounts.

But why is this expense-tracking, security-conscious finance app suddenly doing away with its paid service? BillGuard's Mick Weinstein explains;

"Our pricing model – first two cards free, then up to ten cards for $10 – means that most BillGuard users aren’t connecting all of their accounts (U.S. consumers have on average more than three cards each). So too many folks aren’t gaining the full benefit of seeing, analyzing and saving for all their accounts in one place – the very goal of BillGuard."

For the full details you can check out the full blog post on the official site. Otherwise you can get to downloading BillGuard right now and setting up an unlimited number of accounts.
