Enquiring minds would like to know if the 300 million refers to unique application purchases (including free apps), or if the figure includes updates to apps as well. I have seen some apps with as many as five or six updates so far. More realistically based on my experience if we say that each app that a typical user has purchased has had one or two updates, that would dilute the 300 million number quite a bit if people are trying to extrapolate app store revenue from it.
