All the best games on sale for iPhone and iPad right now - March 30th
It's the end of the week, so it's time to round up the best games that are currently on sale on the App Store. And it's a pretty good week, with some amazing games going cheap. So many that cutting down the list was a pretty tough job. I think I've managed to just leave the very best.
That said, if you think we've missed anything then you should add a comment, after all, there are a lot of games on sale. And make sure you check back next week when we're going to do the same thing all over again. For fun.
Lichtspeer - download for iOS (now $1.99)
It's not been long since Lichtspeer came out, but if you didn't buy it then, now's the perfect time to pick it up. It's a game about throwing a laser spike at a series of hilarious creatures. Like sliding penguins and giants. It's a wonderful mixture of action, score-chasing, and silliness, and it's really rather good.
Arkanoid vs Space Invaders - download for iOS (now $1.99)
What happens when you mash up two arcade classics? Well, this is what happens. It's a really interesting mixture of a block breaker and a shooter, and there's plenty of levels to sink your teeth into to. For just a couple of bucks you really can't go wrong.
Deus Ex Go - download for iOS (now $1.99)
All three of the Go games are on sale at the moment, so if you haven't got them, you should probably buy them all. All of them manage to capture the essence of their inspiration, while still making for really wonderful mobile gaming. This one is full of the franchise's yellow neon lights, cyberpunk trappings, and plenty more.

OTTTD: Over The Top Tower Defence - download for iOS (now 99c)
It's nice when a game does exactly what it says on the tin, and this is one of those. It's a tower defence game that grabs the silliness sliders and pushes them all up to 14. All the towers are bigger, the bombs are more explosive, and the enemies you're trying to take down are meaner. It's also an awful lot of fun, so check it out.

Table Tennis Touch - download for iOS (now 99c)
This is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the greatest sports games available on the App Store. It's a perfect representation of table tennis, the controls are spectacular, and there's so much to do that you're going to pour hours of your life into it. Honestly, even if you don't really care about ping pong, you should grab this.

Death Squared - download for iOS (now $3.99)
Another recent release, this one's all about leading a couple of cubes through a series of challenges. It's a smart puzzler that's brilliantly put together, with a huge amount of challenges to work your way through. If you didn't pick it up for full price, then it's definitely worth getting now that it's on sale.
Deus Ex: The Fall - download for iOS (now $1.99)
A brilliant FPS set in the world of Deus Ex. It captures the spirit of the series, and still remains one of the best RPG shooters that you can buy on the App Store. It's a tight and taut experience, with plenty to do, and there's a depth here that's missing in a lot of other games in the genre.

Life is Strange - download for iOS (now Free)
A wonderful story-driven game that's exactly the sort of game you want to curl up with a mug of hot chocolate on the sofa. This is the first time since the game came out that you can pick up the first episode of the game for nothing. Trust me though, once you've played through that, you're going to want to pick up the rest.

Motorsport Manager Mobile 2 - download for iOS (now 99c)
One of the best sim games on mobile is now cheaper than a cup of coffee. It puts you in charge of a motor racing team, letting you deal with all of the behind the scenes decisions as you try and work your way to the top. You're hiring, firing, and buying all sorts of goods, plus you're in charge of what the drivers do when they're on the track.

Portal Knights - download for iOS (now $2.99)
A sandbox game that's all about building up your character, fighting with giant bosses, and generally having a lovely old time. Plus this is the first time it's been on sale since it came out at the end of last year. You're saving a couple of bucks on the deal, so you should probably pick it up if you've got any interest.
