148Apps year end round-up: These are the top 5 games that came out in April 2018

Posted by Harry Slater on December 11th, 2018

Oh hi there, and welcome to the fourth part of our series about the very best iPhone and iPad games that came out in 2018. We've made it to April, which is when Fortnite came out. So, yeah, Fortnite is at top of this part of the list. Not really a surprise, but we thought we'd get it out of the way before you clicked anything anyway.

Just because Fortnite is the marquee name here, that doesn't mean you should ignore the other games. We've got vandalism, MOBA shooters, and one of the most gruesome licensed games we've seen in a long, long time. Basically April, like most months in mobile gaming, gave us some real gems.

You can click here to read about the best games of January 2018, here to read about the best games of February 2018, and here for the best games of March. And make sure you come back tomorrow, because we'll be rounding up the best iPhone and iPad games that came out in May 2018.

148Apps year end round-up: These are the top 5 games that came out in March 2018

Posted by Harry Slater on December 10th, 2018

It's Monday, and our round-up of the best games of 2018 has landed on March. There were some pretty amazing developments in the third month of the year, mainly thanks to the launch of PUBG and the start of the Fortnite beta (technically Fortnite didn't release around the world until April, which is why we've not included it in this chunk of our recap.

Even without that new lynchpin of the mobile gaming community though, March was pretty exceptional. It was tough cutting the list down to just five, but we think we might have managed. If you disagree though, do make sure that you let us know in the comments at the bottom of the article.

Click here and you can check out the top five games from January 2018, and if you click here you'll be able to read what we think are the five best games from February. Check back later in the week when our round-up is going to hit April. Sick.
