Mystery Mania won’t satisfy anyone who is a regular player of video game puzzles, but if you’re new to them or just want some light entertainment, then this might be an app for you. Provided you don’t mind the $3.99 price tag.

Cracking strategy game with plenty of options & multiplayer supported in tonnes of ways. Why it would be so difficult for them to put a tutorial with the game, I’ll never know, and unless you invest in reading their website on how to play, good luck even getting started.

Tilt your way to saving the ocean by bashing nasty toxic waste canisters into each other. There’s more to this game then just hitting things though, you’ll have to have a strategy if you want to win!

Tweet N’Go Pro is desperately trying to be a new twitter client for folks who are light users of the service. Although it has some really great features, it just doesn’t stand up to the big boys – yet.

Timeloop is a cute & crafty cartoon time travel game that has you thinking of what puzzles need to be solved in order to save the poor scientists! The concept is quite ingenious and provides one of the better experiences on the app store.

Classic virtual pet game that gives us fabulous fish and a goal of finding the magic 7 fish from over 400 species (you’ll be busy breeding)… There’s customized aquariums and a shop too. All of which means, hours of game play for us!

Interesting idea for a game but the execution leaves us with little fun other than a few squishes of some busy business men. Got boring too fast *yawns*.

This is fun to play and will entertain you. There is also a survival mode so you can play forever(ish).

This is a pick up and play that you won’t be able to put down. I liked it, then I liked it even more! The game starts fantastic and gets better the more you play it! Thanks Origin8!

I think we need more pinball games in the app store. When they are done right they are such a treat. WildWest has some pinball-tastic game play and at that price you have to get it, seriously – Now!

This is exciting, addictive, and has game play that could technically last forever!!! Be warned, your fingers will need rest and relaxation after defending all these castles! *phews*

This game is a puzzle platformer that is not for the weak. You are a fireman who has the task of rescuing every person (Darwin) from that level in order to succeed. If you’re a seasoned puzzler, then give it a try, if you’re new to this style then I would try others first.

This game is really for folks who have tried every other “make a product, sell it to customers before they leave or get angry” style of game. I would try the free one first to see if it holds your interest ~ you might just prefer a burnt hot dog to the game.

Mystique held little mystery for me in it’s first incarnation. Needs smoother graphics and more gameplay. Not for me but you might like it if you enjoy ‘locked in a room’ style puzzles.

Sally’s Spa is a time management game that is fun, challenging, interesting and in addition to playing it I wanted to be in it! Mmmmm spa!

Harbor Master is an addictive, fun, competitive game where your goal is to dock & unload cargo from as many ships as possible. With 3 levels to test your Harbor Master skills, get it now before I dominate all the Highscores!

Gridlocked is a good one for picking up and messing with for short periods of time. There’s no learning curve, no real brain aches, and a fantastic pause button for when things get crazy. But, I still wanted more.

Monster Pinball has a great sound and colour along with 6 tables of pinball action all in the same game. The ball shoots from table to table making you play longer than what you may have initially intended!

Toki Tori is a puzzle platform game that is cute, polished and fun. You have 4 worlds and there are 80 levels to get through (collecting eggs as you go) so you will have plenty of gameplay ahead of you!

This is a great idea and is really worth a look at! You can see where you are walking, what is right in front of you, as you email. It’s not perfect yet but the potential for this creative idea is immense!!

This is a cutely drawn game, and although it isn’t as addictive as other games out there, the uniqueness factor coupled with game music that you won’t be able to get enough of, make it a winner. The price really seals the deal folks!

Dig Dug Remix is really two games in one. We are not only given the classic that was brought to our screens back in 1982 (eek I don’t remember – honest) but also the remix version which is thankfully juiced up a bit. In this case, I am definitely preferring the remix to the classic.

SEGA brings Sonic the Hedgehog to the iPhone. Loop dee loops, dives and jumps are all here in the quest to stop the evil Dr. Eggman and his world domination scheme. Springs, traps, bridges and all sorts of monsters are there to stop you all the while collecting rings (cha ching).

If you are a twitter user then this may finally be ‘The One’. If you aren’t a Twitter user, it’s time you logged on. This app rocks them all.

A puzzle game described by them as a mind twister. I agree, it is a mind twister, but perhaps too much so, making it less fun then it should be. Ouch.

This application lists all the Laptops that Apple have made starting from iBook in July 1999 – and going up to the PowerBook G4, 17″ (2005). Why? Well I’m not sure you need this app, but I have to confess to looking & lusting over the laptops!

This is an app that is really well organized, easy to navigate and packed with features. There’s Video tutorials and new recipes weekly which makes it useful both in the kitchen and when proving how good your iPhone is to your unconvinced friends.

A beautifully drawn Manga comic for your device. The graphics are stunning and a comic could make a nice gift idea for the geek in your life. [me! me!]

Ok – This review took far longer than I had wanted. I couldn’t get my son off it long enough to have a go myself! Action packed, easy to use and a whole lot of excitement! Monster Trucks Nitro, is exactly that!

You will need to build catapults, vehicles and other interesting devices in order to succeed in this game. If you are after a mental workout, in an interesting and creative way (like contraption fantastic) then this is your game.
