I love a nice cup of coffee. Well, two cups. Ok, an entire pot! It helps fuel my passion for writing. I also love shoot’em up titles and challenging for top positions on leaderboards. I’m an all-around gamer who owns too many consoles and handhelds. Rez HD is the best game ever. Ghost Recon is my favorite series. I’m a bit of a Nintendo fanboy.

+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

For one day only, today, Carmageddon is available for free. In our review, Rob Rich mentioned, “Carmageddon is an older game, and it shows even on a mobile device, but people don’t always love old games purely because they’re old. Sometimes they love them because they’re fun. And despite the slippery controls, this bit of nostalgia is still very, very fun.”

iPad Only App - Designed for iPad

The Doors app tells the story of the band and provides a deeper look into their career with a unique way to view insider information. Fans will enjoy videos, audio, and photos while looking at the making of each album by the band. There is also a timeline, music room, graphic novel, and more for fans to experience with this app.

The Doors app was produced by Jac Holzman, Elektra Records founder, who signed the band to his label in 1966.

“The genesis of this project began with a desire to digitize the boxed set, to use new technology to improve upon a much-loved fan experience,” said Holzman in a press release. “It made total sense to choose The Doors. They have always been ‘ahead of the curve’ artists and their story is one of the great sagas in rock.”
