It may not be for everyone, but Machines at War 3 is easily one of the smoothest playing RTS experiences that can be had on the iPhone

Battlehorn tries to ride the line between being simplistic without being a unit spam game. It doesn't quite succeed, but is still fun.

Reaper: Tale of a Pale Swordsman is a fun and engaging action RPG for phones and one of the best iPhone games I have played this year.

Pay walls and forced social features may drive away some players, but a solid and addicting core makes Battle Quest a great game for those who don't mind mandatory breaks.

A generally fun and simple Puzzle/RPG hybrid that, sadly, may leave even some casual players wishing for more depth.
