Get in on the action of the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee! For the first time ever you can play along with the new Buzzworthy App.

Spur some friendly competition with your friends, family and co-workers when you download the official app of the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Buzzworthy allows you and your friends to:

(1) Follow a group of spellers

(2) Earn points when your spellers get words right

(3) Connect with friends to create hives of spellers and compete against other hives for bragging rights

(4) Cheer along your spellers and stay up to date on the BUZZ around The Bee with alerts through the final rounds

To get started: Create an account or log in through Facebook. You will get five random spellers to follow throughout the competition. Have a special speller you want to follow? Simply share a Buzzworthy Hive invite code with your friends and family to unlock the opportunity to select one additional speller of your choice.

Now let’s play: Throughout the Scripps National Spelling Bee you will earn points each time one of your spellers gets a word right.

Increase your chances to earn points: Connect with friends to create hives of spellers. When you join or create a Hive, your points are combined with other Hives. Compete against family, friends or coworkers to see who will earn the most points, and of course, earn the ultimate bragging rights if you have the national champion in your Hive!

Watching the Bee has never been more fun!

How Buzzworthy works:
- Create an account and get five random spellers to follow during the Bee.
- Earn points for every word your spellers get right.
- Connect with friends to create hives of spellers
- When hives combine so do your points
- At the end of The Bee Championship, the Hive with the most points wins.

- Fun facts and photos for all 285 finalists in the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee.
- Live competition updates: find out in real time what words your spellers spell onstage, and whether they spelled them correctly.
- Live feed of social media “buzz” about the Bee.

Bonus:
- Choose an additional speller by sharing a Hive invite code.
- Get bonus points for speed when your speller spells words quickly.
- Earn 1,000 points if you predict a word before its announced.
