App Description
This is the official app for the National Ranching Heritage Center (NRHC) at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. On your next visit to the NRHC, use it to explore and interact with our 27.5-acre museum and historical park.
Features:
Interactive Wayfinding & Maps: Our map feature guides you through our historical park. Use it to find your way to each of our 48 authentic ranch structures from some of the West’s most well-known ranches.
Tour: Explore the evolution of ranch life from the late 1700s through the mid-1900s through carefully curated images, audio, video, and text.
Fun Stuff: Interact with the NRHC in a whole new way! This app features scavenger hunts, quizzes, postcards and games for the young and young at heart.
Proximity Messaging – Enable Bluetooth to receive messages as you move through the historical park. These messages will guide you to more information about several of our historical structures.
Please note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
