Gunman Taco Truck is an action-packed drive across the post-apocalypse United States to reach the safe haven of Winnipeg, Canada, where there are no taco trucks and your family’s taco business can thrive. Getting to the safe towns is hectic but your truck is armed with weapons that blast mutants into taco fillings. In the towns you serve up the mutant scraps to struggling survivors who are more picky than they should be. Use money earned and scrap metal found to upgrade your truck and buy gas and supplies for the trip to the next town. You simply MUST see this game to believe it. Download now!

Rave Reviews:

"Without question one of, if not the best, roguelike game I've ever played." ... "Crazy-good roguelike, very challenging and extremely fun. Cannot recommend more highly!" – Steam review

"...a game that's quite fun & enjoyable & original & interesting. We don't get that often." – Jim Sterling @jimsterling

Gunman Taco Truck is one of MacWorld's "The 10 Mac Games You Need To Play" in January 2017

"Rather than a silly kids’ game, Gunman Taco Truck is a competent action roguelike with some strategy and planning elements thrown in for good measure. Instead of a simple distraction, there is a robust game here that is going to provide quite a challenge, and you’ll see a significant amount of gameplay before you reach the end. There are also decals to collect along the way, and there are various routes that you can take across the country, so expect to spend quite a bit of time with the game if you want to see everything. It can be a bit tedious to have to replay the early parts of the game over and over as you start from scratch each time, but as you progress it feels good to get a bit further. All in all, Gunman Taco Truck is quite fun, and it surprised me with just how much game hides just behind the vibrant, silly surface." – TechRaptor

Gunman Taco Truck was designed by Donovan Brathwaite-Romero when he was 9 years old. The game idea was so good that his parents, John and Brenda Romero, decided to make its development a family project. Over 2 years and lots of fun have gone into making Gunman Taco Truck an unforgettable experience, and the realization of Donovan's dream of making a video game. Donovan has been learning how to code for the past 3 years.

Screen Size

I love this game. It is some much fun to play and try to get farther and farther in but I’m on the iPhone 14 pro max and the game size doesn’t match the screen. It’s like it zoomed in to far and the screen is cut off so I’m not able to fully get everything. I know it’s been a while since the last update but I’m keeping hope alive that you will see this and optimize it for the newer phones. I would be forever grateful.

Worth downloading

Overall, this is a really neat game. Although certain aspects of the game such as the often unhelpful placement of stores and garages make the game seem poorly planned, whether intentionally or not, they add to the game’s resource management. In fact, probably the best part about this game is that it’s shooter, cooking, and resource management aspects are all combined into one deceptively complex game. It is very fun and challenging, but...

There are some problems. The gameplay needs some minor tweaks, but my biggest problem with the bosses. Nothing in the game or tutorial even gives you a hint on how to defeat them. You can usually figure it out, but only after losing to them at least once, and it can be very annoying to make it all the way to Montana only to be taken out by a mega-ant that you have no idea how to deal with. In fact, the Mega-Ant is the boss I’ve been having the biggest problem with. I was able to beat it first try, but since then it’s acid spit seems to be dealing full damage even when I successfully dodge it. I have no idea if this is the result of a glitch, or a lack of understanding of how the battle works. Overall, a good game, but it has its problems.

“Right here, right now - yes!”

I don't know how this game can have a bad rating. Should be 5 stars all the way, to Canada!

Romeros tyke got creative, a college project prompt. A taco truck that serves up mutant meat from your wake of carnage, all the way from nuclearly annihilated USA, to Canada. A recourse management, fast food sim, placed upon the bones of a clicker action game. This game feels like its straight out of an arcade difficulty wise, and gives a light helping of randomness of a soft core rouglike.

The story is simple and strieght forward, America has become Nuclear Waistland, and there aint many more customers to serve, you need to get out of California and book it up to Canada. You must plan ahead Balencing your walet, and scrap (for vehical upgrades) further along you go, the harder it gets. Unlocking more taco recipe's to serve and pickier customers, as you run into more nightmarish abominations to serve to them!

Id say the cheepest thing this game throws at you is the rocks, they are unbreakable, and cause you no mater what 1/3 of your health/armor…. (Think your supposed to take the armored wheels…. Just feels like a rip off) All the same it a minor complaint as again, its very arcadie difficulty. Which means it can be relentless. Great game, 8.5 stars, and a Fuzzy Taco!
