App Description

Panic Alert Pro will prepare a "Panic Alert" text message to be sent to as many people as you like from your contacts list, along with links to a map showing your coordinates when the message was created. It will also send a link to a web page that is constructed only for the eyes of the recipients of your "Panic Alert" text message. The web page contains images from your front and rear facing cameras that are taken every few seconds, along with time they were taken and the GPS coordinates of where they were taken.

When you are in a panic situation, there may be no time to go through all that is required to send a distress text message to your loved ones. It is also unlikely that you will have the time or presence of mind to find your GPS location information and insert it into the text message. With Panic Alert Pro, however, this can all be done in one click. After the "Panic Alert" message is composed, you can walk to your car in a dark parking garage, or along a dark street at night knowing that all you will need to do is hit the "SEND" button in your text app and crucial information about where your are and your situation will be sent to several people instantly.

In many scenarios, every second counts, and the more information that is known, and the earlier it is known about a possible abduction or other potentially life threatening event the better for the potential victim, and for those that are needed to help.

The app is free, and it is also free to send test Panic Alerts. Since there are server and maintenance costs for the Panic Alert web site, we do charge for actual Panic Alerts. However, instead of a monthly fee, you can purchase 5 Panic Alerts for only $1.99. Since hopefully you will never need to use them, it is most likely that $1.99 is all the app will ever cost you. Other apps like this do charge an ongoing service fee, but we feel you should only be charged for usage. If you do consume all 5 Panic Alerts, you can buy new ones at any time in packs of 5 for $1.99.
