What's New

Changes in v1.0.14

-Numerous balance changes. The game is now significantly easier overall, with a reduced penalty for towers attacking the armor types they're weakest against.

-The "Bare Minimum" achievement is no longer restricted to level 5, and can be obtained on any level except the Gnome Labs.

-The "Bye, Dalton" achievement is less restrictive and is now awarded by winning level 10 (Town Hall) with 150-159 lives.

-The most recent tower built can be sold for a full refund. This is intended to make accidental builds less frustrating.

-The "yellow cloud" indicating the path of flying creatures has been increased in size to aid in visibility.

-Resolved an issue where paths unlocked mid-level might not correctly show the visible cloud indicators.

-Level 9 (Dwarven Mine) has had most waves modified to ease difficulty on this level. In addition, it now has a darker, dirtier appearance which should be easier on the eyes.

-Levels 2, 3, 7, 9, 13 have had the starting energy increased.

-It is now possible to disable the auto-defense laser on level 10 by placing sufficient towers in the detection beam's path.

-The "leak details" screen now lists the armor type of units that leaked.

-Selecting a creature from the side-panel during the first 3 levels will indicate what type of tower that creature is most vulnerable to.

-A number of outstanding bugs have been addressed.

App Description

A unique, dynamic, challenging, fully-voiced tower defence game. You begin at Veldamir Castle, a small outpost at the edge of the human lands, where Wynathean the Wizard walks you through your training. From there, you proceed to the elven, dwarven, and gnomish realms in an effort to save the lands of Alarameth from certain annihilation.

Contains 15 levels. Unlocked over the course of the game are 7 primary tower types (each upgradable to level 3). Each level is voiced by a primary character, with additional voiced characters as you progress to later levels and reach their lands.

No in-app purchases or ads. Note that Alarameth TD is generally not suitable for very young children.

COMPATIBILITY:
iPhone 5, iPad 4, iPad Mini 2 or higher recommended.

Older devices such as the iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and original iPad Mini may run, but at significantly reduced performance. You may need to close background apps on these devices to ensure the game has enough memory during intense levels. The iPad 3 is not recommended, and will require the "conserve battery" option to be enabled in the game menu due to it's higher resolution, though performance on this device will remain suboptimal.
